Hello everyone...
Hope U all had a nice weekend.  
My hubby had a 3day'er, and we did absoluttly nothing constructive....
   Okay, that's not totally correct... Friday afternoon we went 2 the grocery  store for chilli fix'ins & food 4 the weekend.  On Saturday he took me to get seed beads so that I would have the right color to make some new bracelets to match the school colors for the school show that I will be at in March. 
Then Sunday morning my friend Jodie called with news of a wonderful sale & coupon at Michaels.

Well, being the wonderful husband that he is...
He offered to take me to Michaels to buy...
U guessed it... MORE BEADS...

Pictures of our display at the Lincoln Women's EXPO...

Well... Hello to all my blog friends and followers...
I do hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. As U all know, I was busy at the Lincoln Women's EXPO this past weekend. And the week be4, I was very busy getting ready 4the EXPO.
I want 2 say THANK YOU 2 everyone who ventured out to the EXPO. U all helped to make it a huge success. I have already started a list of ideas for next year.
One item or line of items that I hope to have finished be4 then is our "Sentiments & Quotations" Cards. To explain... Our "Picture Art Note Cards" with greetings, sentiments, little poems, quotations and cute little phrases printed inside.
I have had a large amount of requests for greetings and such to be printed inside of our Picture Art Cards. So over the past couple of years I have been keeping a book of such things, and have quite a selection of cute little sayings and stuff.
Maybe later in the year I will have a contest for things to print in our cards, what do U all think of that???
Who's game for a contest??? let me know what U think???

WOW... The sun was even more bright and beautiful 2day, than yesterday..... And I just ate it up....

I have something very exciting to share with everyone.... My husband Sean has signed me & Black Cat Gallery Traveling Art up for the Lincoln Women's EXPO. He said that it is time 4 me to start getting back in the swing of things. The EXPO will be in Lincoln NE, January 23rd & 24th, at the Lancaster Event Center. Well the new year is upon us now, and it just does not feel like 2010..

Hopefully it will grow on me, and be a little better year than the last few. Starting a new year without my mother is proving to be very trying... But 2 day was a nice day, the sun came out 2 play and melted some of our nearly 14 inches of snow away. (and no I did not mean 4 any of that 2 rhyme) The sun really did make a difference, I actually smiled 2day.

Now for new business.... Back in September after my 10th anniversary, I started working on my blog. So I could showcase my Bead & Jewelry Design along with Photography. (all of which my husband and I enjoy doing together) Not 2 mention sharing pictures of our loving children. (5 cats)

With my Art Blog I plan 2 add an Etsy store to make our work more accessible to the public. In recent days I have found an additional on line/blog store called "1000 markets" that sounds really cool too, I might have 2 check it out. If anyone has any helpful info on them, do share...

I will make a good effort to post little tid-bits, photos, cat stories, new products and projects we R working on and a little history on us now and then. In addition I will post up dates on shows and events so you can follow us through the year.

Hello all...
Very sorry that I have not posted 4 a few weeks... Had an emergency with my mom, and had 2 take her 2 the Hospital on Oct. 7th, by the 11th the Dr's were talking of sending her home...
But that never happened... Monday afternoon (the 12th) she coaded and went non-responsive.
Everything went way south after that... and we lost her on thursday Oct. 15th........
Her service is this Wed. (10/28/09) in Lincoln NE, at B. Mazer/Love funeral home 40th &A st.
at 1pm...... This has been so very hard 4 me & my brother, it hasn't even been 2 years since my dad passed away.....
I will be at my next two shows, but it will be a while be-4 I get my next post with pictures up 4 everyone to view..... please be patient with me......

Hello.... have been working hard to post new pictures... Man.... that is a chore when U don't really know what U-R doing.... I'm sure I will 4 get how I did it between now & when I have more pictures 2 share w/U...

But 4 now, please look through my full history. (its only about 2 weeks long) And keep in mind that I am also working on an Etsy shop for my blog also. That way my visitors will be able to purchase items that they like w/o having to leave home, or come visit me at a show.....

(I will have to re set my page, so more posts will show on my hope page with out a search)

This one is not quite done yet, I still need to make matching beaded dangles to hang from each
loop hanging over the edge of the plate, at each attached point.

Anyway... it is a closeup on one of the beaded stations, of an embellished hanging container.

One on my newer items. I began making these embellished hanging containers back in June or July. I really enjoy laying out the beads that I use 2 embellish them.
