Happy Memorial Day to everyone!!!

When I was a kid...   It seemed like every Memorial Day when Dad
actually had the weekend off.   Him & mom would plan projects that
had been waiting to be done for several months. 
But never fail...   Mother Nature had other plans for us!  
Rain, Rain, Rain...    and yet more Rain...
We have had good weather this year!

yesterday.   Have been very busy filling my special customer
orders from the show.   But here are a few pictures from my display
at the Spring Affair Garden Show.

Been very busy since the Spring Affair Garden show.
Several special custom orders for Garden Stones.
Some mosaics with the customers family china plates.
And a half dozen or so Paw Print Stones.   I just delivered
the last one this week.    Now to start on the special order
Garden Stars...   

I have over 15 colors to pick from, surely one to match everyone's
theme!   The picture below fits most house doors, and the large one
looks great hanging in the peak on the front of  your home!
I will post a pic. of the R/W/B one that we put up later today...

yet another satisfied customer...

Today was delivery day for a special custom order
Paw Print Garden Stone...   

She was so happy with it that she will be calling me in a few
weeks to order a second one, and maybe a third!    

It is almost Show time!!! This Friday & Saturday!

It is just around the corner, Friday and Saturday!!!
I am getting Excited!   I have loads of NEW Garden Stones and my
NEW Garden Stars!   I can't hardly wait for you all to see them...

Friday evening is the Preview Party, tickets are $25. to $35.
SATURDAY 9am to 4pm is FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC!!!
Come one Come ALL!!!

Here is a little peek at a couple of NEW items that we have been
working on for the Black Cat Gallery booth. 
(our Booth will be located near the middle of the back row of vendors)
We will also have a selection of our "Picture Art" Note Cards and a
small collection of other Photography,
along with a some Hand Crafted Jewelry.

 This type is the most fun to make, because breaking things on
purpose is ALWAYS Fun!!!    he, he...    =^,^=

The three Garden Stones above is just a small sample of the shapes
and styles that I have.   I will take Special Orders for Garden Stones
as well!   Bring a special plate that you have from your Mom,
Grandmother, Aunt or just one that maybe already has a chip.
REMEMBER  it WILL have to be BROKEN for me to make the
Garden Stone for you.   (takes apx. 2 weeks) 

I am looking forward to the Spring Affair show & sharing our new
items with all our friends and customers.    Don't be afraid to order
something you like in a different color, or a Garden Stone from one
of Great Aunt Nellie's china plates! 
They make GREAT Mother's Day & Birthday Gifts for Mom,
Grandma, & the Sister or Friend that is hard to shop for....

Spring has sprung...

But here in Nebraska we still have a chance of Snow!!!  
Go figure...   :)

I have been very busy with my paying job, and working on my 2014
Spring and early Summer show schedule. 
 
It is all looking very good so far, with a couple things to report...

Although our phones have been shut off for several months, we are
planning to get them turned back on in the next couple of weeks.
And with that I will also be able to accept credit cards from now on!
I now have a "Square" along with a new/used device that will allow
me to use it.   I am so looking forward to finely being able to say,
YES I accept credit cards!!!    :)

For my first few shows, as my Calendar over to the right shows...
A Garden theme show in April, and two vintage shows in June.  
I am hoping to locate one for mid May too.

I am VERY excited for my first show of the season, A Spring Affair!
This year will be the 28th annual Spring Affair!   The Midwest's largest
Gardening event, with  more than 500 different varieties of plants for
sale.    Along with over 30 venders all showcasing Garden/Yard
related items.    Including...   Garden  Art, Ornaments & Sculptures,  
Hand crafted Wood Furniture & Bird Houses, along with other
Garden related items, and very valuable information.  
ALL under one roof!!!   At the Lancaster Event Center, in Lincoln NE.

As for the 2 Vintage shows in June,  I will tell you all more about them
a little later.   For now I think I will say Good Day, and I hope to post
pictures of what I plan to take to the Spring Affair soon...

Well...   Lets try this again...   
It has been over 4 years since I started this venture of an Art Blog.
NEVER expecting to be doing it with out my mother to share the
highlights with!   It has been very hard for me to get back in to the
swing of things in the Art and Show world!  
I tried so hard to get things rolling last year, and started off with
the Lincoln area ABATE Bike Show.    But it did not go as well
as I had hoped, as in past years sales were very good!
The 2013 show did not end as well...    :(

With the rest of the year having many bad moments,  it was just
rocky all the way around!!!

So...   This year...   Well, I am not even going to give highlights
of my ideas!   I did post new items to my Calendar here on my
blog.   And I do have ideas and plans for things.   But it seems
when I spell it all out in my post, things just don't go as planned.

With that said...   I am "hoping" to do good things this year!!!
baby steps???   will give it a try, again???
